Our 2013 year with WP

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 38,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 14 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Click here to see the complete report.

And we accomplished this in only nine months, Jan – Sep. On one hand, I would love to blow the doors off the other years’ stats with a carefully crafted and executed blogging strategy.

We don’t share with you to sell ads, we don’t worry when our numbers go up or down. Our initial reason for blogging was to provide our family and friends a wellness status and location on us.

Then we decided this is a fun journal for us. We kept writing, almost 400 times already in this context and another 150 in our original journal on our website pages.

We hope our 550 posts have entertained you a bit, and perhaps helped at times. We enjoy doing it and like how WordPress makes it easier.

Happy New Year and See you down the road!

  1. I really enjoy your blog. I admire you and Debbie for striking forth full time in your 25′ Airstream International. Where do you live? It is where you are parked at the time. Love it! I also appreciate the tips on keeping it going. Keep it going. It is exciting to think of you as a future WBCCI Officer and President. We will know our Society is in good hands and may head in some new directions.

    • Richard, We’re enjoying staying, for the first time, along Mississippi’s coastline. Had dinner last evening with six of my cousins, fresh caught grilled redfish and fried trout, with red beans and sausage on rice. Wow! Can we stay?

Thx for riding along, we enjoy your comments. BTW, you do know you remain our #1 highest in number of comments? Keep them coming, and we look fwd to seeing you and Julie next month.
